Office of the Auditor General Reports

The California State Auditor's Office, formally the Bureau of State Audits, is the successor to the Office of the Auditor General, which closed in November 1992 after more than 37 years of distinguished service to California citizens. The Auditor General exposed a vast range of wasteful governmental practices. Its findings saved hundreds of millions of dollars and made a multitude of services more effective. For every dollar the office spent, it saved California taxpayers more than $6. This page provides access to all copies of reports by the Office of the Auditor General that the California State Auditor has.
