We are the independent oversight arm of the California State Legislature and the custodians of California’s Whistleblower Hotline. What will you do?

As the office’s primary recruiter, this position will require travel throughout California to represent the office at various college campus recruiting and outreach events. This position also supports the office’s workforce and succession planning efforts and occasionally serves as back-up to the training unit. Some of the duties you will perform include:

  • You are willing to travel to various locations throughout the State of California and occasionally work irregular hours.

* Willing to consider a Staff Services Analyst classification for recruitment purposes; duties will be adjusted accordingly. The annual salary for a Staff Services Analyst is $44,964 – $73,116. The examination for this level can be found on CalHR’s website.

The Fine Print

Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position. Additional hires may be made from this bulletin if positions become available.

This position is eligible for participation in the office’s hybrid telework program. Work at the alternate work location must be conducted in California in a space that is ergonomically sound, private, distraction-free, and has safe working conditions to be eligible to telework.
